Here is some updated information about the sponsored youth trip to Zavraze, Russia.

Again, you would have to pay airfare to Moscow return. The rest is included.

For this trip, the restrictions are not so stringent:

- must 18+

- can be married youth

- Russian language less esential

- places for 4 people from our diocese

The dates are: from 6 or 7 July Moscow to 25 July 2009

The basic concept is to be involved in the restoration of a church and surrounding grounds and missionary-orinetated interaction with the local youth, for about 4 hours per day.

For the rest of the time there is a list of activities, such as: team sports and recreation, astronomy, ecology and evenings of song and music.

A ROCOR Youth Mission conference of delegates was held at the Strathfield cathedral, Sydney, on the weekend of 14-15 March. This conference was to define directions and purpose for the mission as well as give a kick-start to activity throughout Australia.
